Believe it or not, Keith Butts, P.E., is a fourth generation Florida native! Born and raised in a small town in Central Florida, Keith met and married his high school sweetheart, Allyson. After being married for almost two years, Keith and Allyson moved to Gainesville, Florida where Keith pursued and received his Bachelor degree in civil engineering from the University of Florida–Go Gators! Just before graduation, Keith and Allyson welcomed their first child, Devin Marie. The Butts family then moved to Sarasota, Florida where they added a son, Brent Latimer, to their family.
When Keith is not busy with work, he is spending his time serving the American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE). Keith currently holds the office of Governor representing the state of Florida on the national level.
Keith enjoys all kinds of outdoor hobbies with his favorites being fishing, hunting and, of course, Gator football! The entire family is busy from August to December every year attending all of the Gator home games. Most other weekends, Keith enjoys spending his free time fishing and hunting including fishing two bass tournament trails, one with each of his children.
